How hard is it to cancel Chatr Mobile?

chatr is prepaid with no cancellation fee. Two disclosed routes: let the account go inactive (stop topping up; the account stays active until the balance falls below the monthly fee, then auto-cancels after 90 days), or port the number to a new provider, which auto-cancels the chatr account. Customers are told to initiate the port through the new provider and not to cancel chatr first. Deceased-holder auto-pay cases are handled in-store. After cancellation, My chatr access and the old number are lost; unused balance is not refunded.
